Rivendell

Post by Fraslund »

Greetings everyone!

I wanted to share our official pics of our Rivendell collaboration that we did for Brickcon. I am still a bit burnt out from this build which is why my CCC building has been less than productive, but very happy with the way everything turned out. Alice was amazing to collaborate with and is an immensely talented builder.

Enjoy!

Dave,

This is amazing! I'm glad to finally see a whole photoset online after the tantalizing glimpses from BrickCon photos. I've posted it to the front page and also to TolkienBricks.

Wow, that is quite briliant!
The details, colours, everything fits so nicely.
How long does it take to build something as grand as that?

Wowzers. I read the interview over on TBB and while the build is simply amazing, I think the best part is that this was a family affair for you. Back in the day, my dad and I played LEGOs every now and then and I wouldn't give that up for all the money in the world--or in Erebor.

I LOVE IT!!! This is seriously one of the best MOCs ever built, I have no idea how you made it so big yet still immensely detailed! :spin:
I look forward to anything else you guys come up with! :D

Words almost fail me . This build is richly colourful . Perfectly detailed and constructed. Imaginative and immensely interesting. Lego tastick . :D Probably the best ever mega MOC I've ever seen. Hugely inspiring to new AFOLs . Warmest thanks and all my love to the Team of builders who created this mega masterpiece of Lego . Assuredly this will continue to inspire all Lego CC builders. :)

Simply beautiful! I often get bored of massive builds but this one is excellent! The attention to detail you paid as you built this is obvious; too much to compliment :D Great job!
