Ok AK, I will.

Here is what friskywhiskers said about our faction thread:

Basically Feel free to:

Post builds
Comment on builds
Speculate wildly albiet incorrectly about future LCs and GCs
Ask for clarifications on contest rules
Ask for deadline extensions for contest rules
Post encouragement, or status updates (I.E "come on guys lets make 10 GC entries" or I should have my LC entry done soon"
Answer the Questions of others

Please do not:

Police the thread by calling out the posts of others
Post advice about other members' builds

Those two things should be kept to PM to me or the other member(s)

These are my policies, they do not necessarily apply with other faction threads.

So basically, you don't want us to do the "Comment on builds"? If so, I'll keep that to flickr/mocpages/castle mocs/etc.

My thought is that particularly if someone creates a thread in the MOCs forum for their build, comments would be better off posted there since it is a dedicated spot for feedback. Frisky is the head-honcho for this thread, so if he doesn't care, then that is fine. I didn't mean to contradict his policy. It just seems like better housekeeping to comment in the MOC thread if one exists, you know?

(posting this here instead of replying via PM for the benefit of anyone who may be interested in the exchange)

No need to discuss/reply to this here further, else we risk clutter than I was trying to avoid ;)

Guys I apologize for falling a little bit behind (again), though stay tuned for the LC results, score update, and a new LC by Sunday!

As an afterthought on the above incident:

I'll go Swiss on this one. I when I said comment on builds I kinda meant the odd, one off expression of approval (I.E. "This is sure to win the GC for us, nice work!" Directed at a build that is easily the most stupendous you've seen in a while), AK is correct in asking for general critique comments on the majority of MOCs to be kept to Flickr or the MOC thread. Certainly the builder should not reply to such comments so as to avoid clutter. :)

Here's my second Free Build for the month of January 2014. With this entry (if my math is right) I just became a Citizen!!! :)

< Free Build II Jan 2014 >

Sir Kejtar is meeting with his neighbour - Elf Lord Janga and discussing border issues between the two properties. There is a point of contention - location of the watering hole used by messengers and travelers that Janga is claiming to be on his property and wanting to deny access to it. <picture takes you to the moc forum where clicking on the pic will take you to the flickr ;) )

GCVI Entry

<i> Woric Boldine was brainstorming for ways for his province to provable in the coming war, he went to the town Oracle and said
"What can we do? Every minute we don't make a move the opponent is gaining on us."
The weathered oracle replied "Nature is calling, there is one animal that can help you prevale in the war, it is vicious, but very easy to tame if use this." And handed him a wooden flute, at first Woric didn't know what it was, it had a weird feel, and quick raised it to blow, but the Oracle grabbed him and said "Go far away, blow this, tame some, go armed as sometimes it may not work."
So he did, they were miles outside of town, near a beautiful flowing waterfall, he raisedt he flute, and blew. <i>

One of my favorite builds, hope to have another GCVI entry, I had the idea that Lenfald could harness nature for there country

Go Lenfald!

Reuploaded because of amazing editing from Adam! :)
Favs and comments appreciated

I hate to post in another faction's thread, but if it was Rifirofi who edited The White Beret's photo, the he's even more awesome because he did the same for me too. Thanks so much Adam!

Calling all LCC members! If you haven't already, then please bob over to the thread below to give your feedback on various elements of the LCC.

I have put together a survey with the Faction Leaders permission that will hopefully help them with future plans for the format and direction of the LCC in 2014.

Go to the thread below for more info, there are only ten questions so it shouldn't take long. Answers that have circular tick boxes require one answer only, answers that have square tick boxes you can give multiple answers.
