Hello once again fellow Lenfels. I had some free time this week to put together a build for the GC6 in the Restricted Scene category 32x32.

LC12 - Serene Dreams




hear ye, hear ye!
With hope glimmering on the horizon, the Citizen's of Lenfald have started to daydream avidly about long awaited relief from the reign of oppression. Rebels and innocent citizens alike who have been locked up or forced into hiding can almost feel the sun on their face again. Children eagerly await the day when they will be able to travel to their favorite seaside retreats without fear of detainment.


Challenge
Show a daydream from the minds eye of your character, in which they are enjoying life after freedom. Think relaxing by the seaside, fishing in the stream, strolling through a beautiful woodland setting, etc.


Rules
- The emphasis of this challenge lies with atmosphere. The more the scene depicted by your build contrasts with the current oppressed lives of your characters, the higher you will score.
- As always, quality over quantity. Big does not necessarily mean best!
- Post your MOC in the "MOC forum", then post a thumbnail here with a link. Do NOT send me a PM with a link.


Scoring and Prizes
-Entering this challenge will earn you 3 points!
-The Winner receives an additional 5 points as well as 5 custom capes courtesy of ludzik!
-The Honorable mention receives an additional 3 Points as well as 3 custom capes courtesy of ludzik!


Judging
Judging will be conducted based on the following criteria:
1.Fits Challenge
2.Creativity/ Attention to Detail
3.Originality
4.Serene/ Carefree atmosphere

You have three weeks for this challenge, the deadline is Saturday, February 8th at 11:59PM EST

I like the concept behind this contest, I just have one question. I noticed you said that it would be good for us to show the contrast between the "dream" and what reality in our MOCs.
Maybe this is just me, but I've been imagining the current rule and oppression of Galainir as simply more of an occupation rather than something that actually ravaged the lands of Roawia. To me, Lenfald (and the rest of Roawia) should look pretty much the same as it did before Galainir's takeover.

I'll do my best to get something up for this contest but I think my main focus is going to be on the GC at the moment. Also, thanks to Petturik for offering to sponsor this contest!
