LCC GC VI Entry: Part 3

Post by General JJ »

Image

Jørn Jakobsen moved his company southward toward the abandoned Garhim mines just outside of Havenhill. Fortunately, the Queen’s incompetent troops had occupied the mines for merely a matter of days before giving up and deserting them. The Garhims, having an acute sense for mining, knew that just below lay veins of iron. Bringing along half of all the able-bodied men, a small work force was assembled.

Jørn approached Derek, the overseer of the mining operation. “What’s our progress so far for today?” inquired Jørn.
“You came at a good time. We just hit the big vein we’ve been expecting. We’re currently bringing out the first of the vein, and it looks promising” Derek replied. “We should have our rate of production doubled by the end of the day.”

“Good. When do you expect we can pull out of here?”

“We’ll have enough armor sets for five hundred men before the end of the week. The workers are optimistic, so we could possibly finish up sooner than that.”

“All right, I’ll be back to check up within the next few days. Give the men double rations for all the hard work they've done today.”

“Yes sir. I’ll tell them immediately.”

This is a pretty expert entry for the GC6. Love the rockwork inside the mine shaft and that crane looks particularly good. You guys do great building in the castle theme, keep it up!

Happy Building,

Sweet build, several things stood out to me: the SNOT rockwork/transition from dark bley to bley, the crane, and the triple forge. Great work guys :)

You have put out some amazing builds for the GCVI. I love everything about them. The SNOT technique used on the quarry walls in this build make it look great.

The rockwork in the mines looks absolutely terrific- stunning work! The smooth textures on the walls are a very good contrast with the rough rocks on the floor, and the olive green roof on the shed looks great. Also, I'm a sucker for that crane and elevator :)
