LCC- Queen's Warbeasts
Not really a MOC persay, but they'll be used in upcoming MOCs as the situation in Roawia reaches its climax. I actually built these a while back (they were at Brickfair VA), but never bothered to post them in the CC forums, so I took some better pictures, and here we are!
This is also for anyone who's been looking for any armored troll ideas. Where the fantasy era troll is too cartoonish, and the LOTR trolls are, well borderline unusable as anything but LOTR trolls the magnificent Rancor comes to the rescue. The rancor is perfect for castle trolls! It's a great mold with a LOT of castle possibilities to it!
Anyway, just a warning to all fellow Roawians. A rebellion may be on its way, but do not make the mistake of thinking the queen is unprepared. Brought over from the Magic Isles in secret, the powerful Warbeasts are one of the aces up the Queens sleeve should things come to war. With the strength of a Loreesi War Elephant, and the ability to wield weapons and think for themselves (to a degree) these giant battle trolls are a force to be reckoned with!

Nice way to make those monsters look OK ! The armor is really prodigious (I found a good synonym for "awesome" just for you ) though!

These are great! I love how you did the armor, especially the eye guards. Great job!

These are so intimidating! I wish I had one so for GCVII I could have Sir Ian battling one.

Re: LCC- Queen's Warbeasts
These guys are pretty epic. I'm not as huge a fan of the things on their backs, but I really love the way you wrapped armor and claws around them. These guys look like they should be pushing a battering ram up to the gates of Minas Tirith.

Re: LCC- Queen's Warbeasts
Well, that is mindblowingly awesome! Would never have thought of using rancors that way. The armor aside I really like the figs as well. The gladiator helms work excellently.

These are absolutely fantastic, and have given me some inspiration for my cave trolls. Long live the Queen!
