After departing his keep and saying goodbye to Lady Olik he set out towards Loreos to meet with an old friend. Unfortunately things are never easy as he departed Loreos under not so favourable circumstances and needed to enter the town somewhat incognito. As he stood in front of the thieves gate (common name for merchants and commoners gate) he was wondering if he also shouldn't have left his armor and cape behind as he somewhat stood out from the crowd.... plus this heat.... he kept looking over towards the little boy selling water to those waiting for inspection by the soldiers..... will he get stopped? Will he get detained? Or will he get in to see his old friend.....

Also along with this submission a request to the mighty Guildmaster - my newborn prevented me from putting the final touches on my MOC (ok.. I admit it - didn't have time to look for the palm tree between all those dirty diaper changes) which would have made it my second submission for the month of January. Anyways, I hereby officially request the ability to enter 3 MOC's in the month of February so that I can make up for the lost time last month.
Lastly, as with any MOC, you must make sure that your builds have plenty of thought and effort put into them. This is about proving your skill, not racing to complete the tasks. For this reason, only two submissions will be accepted per month unless you have received special permission from the Guildmaster.

LCC - Lenfald - Heroes Guild - A3 - in defense of the weak

Post by ludzik »

After passing through the gates unrecognized, sir Kejtar was exploring the Loreesi city as he came across a scene that made his blood boil! A young lady... barely out of her girl years and a boy held up by two bandits wanting gods only know what from the pair as they seem to have not been carrying any valuables. Without regard for being recognized by anyone in the city or inccuring the wrath of the local authorities he drew his short sword and a knife and charged the two ruffians... even though they were armed with long swords, he made short work of them... after he was done he looked to see if the young lady and the boy needed any help and realized they've vanished. It was somewhat surprising though he thought they might have feared that since he was fighting the two bandits against the odds they decided to do the smart thing and leave the area. Fearing that they might have called for the town guard he departed as well while wondering who the lady and the boy were... he recognized the lady from the crowd that entered the gate with him and the boy as the one who was selling water at the gate. But what was he doing here? Especially accompanying the lady? Also the young lady looked terribly familiar to him and the more he thought about it the more he was sure he knew her from someplace.. but from where?

J1 - cutting through the patrol -Lenfald

Post by ludzik »

While in Loreos sir Kejtar found out that he has a half brother. Overjoyed with the news he decided to seek him out and ask him to join forces with him against the queen - especially since he was already known as a quite vocal opponent of the current regime. Unfortunately news of his search somehow leaked and there were patrols looking for both him and his brother (who knew nothing of sir Kejtar yet). Patrols were light in themselves but they were closely spaced so that if one of them ran into trouble reinforcements were almost seconds away.....

Not wanting to be stopped from achieving his goal or having to detour miles around the territory sir Kejtar decided to just run the patrol down and hope that his mighty steed will take him away fast enough that he will be able to lose any mounted pursuit... The surroundings were also to his advantage as the area even though green, was very rocky and post volcanic which meant if he found the right spot to leave the trail his tracks will not be easily spotted on the hard and rocky surface...

LCC - Heroes Guild -J2 - and into the fire -Lenfald

Post by ludzik »

After cutting through the patrol sir Kejtar thought he was out of the woods. There was no pursuit in sight and he was ready to find a spot to camp for the night. Suddenly he heard a whoooshing sound and the ground around him went ablaze. A dragon.... a flippin dragon!!!!! The deadly dance ensued... Sir Kejtar ended up dismounting to be a bit more nimble and to save his horse from certain death. He threw two short spears and ended up bring down the dragon to the ground. Without waiting for the dazed beast to come to he stepped in and slashed at the neck....
