Everything is awesome! So, have any of you been camping out in line at your local Blockbuster Video for the past month to be the first on your block to get the LEGO Movie DVD? If so, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the store has been closed for the past six months. Oh well, you can order it from Amazon. Awesome!
I pre-ordered mine from Amazon the day then were able to be pre-ordered...but alas, it hasn't shipped yet. So while everything IS awesome today...not for me as I have to either wait for the awesome to arrive or go buy a needless second copy...so I guess I will wait for the surprise awesome to arrive. And yes I ordered the copy so I could have that fig! Tis a little disheartening because Amazon used to ship those before the release day so they would arrive on it. This hasn't happened for the last two or three dvd's I pre-ordered.
Thanks for the notice Bruce! I didn't know they came with that awesome fig, I definitely will have to order it from Amazon now! Everything is awesome!

Everything is awesome! I've been itching to get this on DVD and now the time has come so I can. It will probably be a couple more days before I do due to time and opportunity .

There are three different versions of the movie on Amazon - I'm pretty sure the fig only comes with the most expensive version (the combination of DVD, blue ray, 3D movie and digital version), which is significantly more expensive.
BTW, I don't have the fig, that image is from the Brickset post.
Yes bruce is correct. I have the fig in my hot little hands and it is awesome! It is only avaliabe in the 3d combo pack.
Also heads up, untill the 21 target has the movie combo pack at 35 and some change, also 5% off lego movie sets and on a select number of Lego movie sets you get an additional $10 off at check out. I picked up the trash chomper for $15!
Cant wait to see thw movie. Will be watching it this evening.

Got back to LEGO after school just got done and I find out 2 days ago that the LEGO Movie is coming out!! So I got the movie yesterday along with the Melting Room set, watched til almost 12am and I'm like: EVERYTHINIG IS AWESOME!
Mine arrived today...but none of my 3 dvd's (yeah 3 of them..bluray, bluray 3d, and normalness dvd) are all black. None of that fancy schmantzy printing on them. But..who cares? I got my fig and now to watch my movie!
And if we must sing...I prefer "DARKNESS! NO PARENTS! REPEATED DARKNESS!" Tis an amazing song.
I went and got mine back on Tuesday (same kind as Blue got) and everything is awesome. I also got it cheaper as discount price as it was the first day so that was extra awesome and I must say I like the fig.

Hmm, I am debating whether or not it is worth it to get the one with the fig in it, or not and just get the movie for a lot cheaper. What do you think?
