Hi, I'm new too

Post by Bluesecrets »

Hi. This is the first LEGO forum I’ve ever joined. I have been lurking for a while now. A friend of mine encouraged me to start building again this year after a very long absence. My collection is limited compared to most, but it is slowly expanding. I built whatever seems to strike me, but lately I’ve been trying castles. Oh, while I am human, I am apparently both concrete and ABS proof that female builders do exist. Nice to be here.

A female fan!

Welcome aboard!

I hope we see you around a lot. While we have several ladies in here, none are prominent posters.

Yes, yes he does. He posted my first complete castle here when I was doubting what I had built. He then showed me the responses and around here. It took me a while to decide to join. But here I am. Oh, he would be Jail (J1A3L5).

Welcome! :D

I'm glad that you joined. As Anthony said, this is probably one of the most friendliest sites on the web. Your first MOC was pretty good. I hope to see more from you.

Yes, the desert castle is indeed mine. Unfortunately for it, I had limited tan, but I keep adding more pieces, (call it my great quest for tan bricks). Hopefully I will learn a lot here and make the next one even better.

Thank you for the kind words about my little tan creation, the advice and of course the very warm welcome.

So, are you suggesting that Lady Val, our resident Scottish lass, is "odd"?? She may have words for you young man.

I'll add my welcome to Bluesecrets (whatever they are), and I too really liked your tan castle. Well done.
