Classic Castle's Christmas in July

Welcome to the Classic Castle version of Christmas in July.

What is this? Well it is a twist on our annual Christmas Minfig exchange. Instead of minifigs…it is parts.

Sweet!!! What do I need to do?

Follow these steps:
1) Answer these questions:
a) Am I over 13? (Remember we have that pesky COPPA Law that we must follow)
b) Am I a member in good standing, at least 10 posts, and a join date of December 1st 2015 or earlier?
c) Am I willing to send a gift that is $5 to $10 which does not include shipping? (Please note there will be no distinction between US and international shipping for this. You may be paired with someone not in the US.)

If you answered no to any of those, well maybe next July (or at Christmas) you can answer yes to all of them.

2) Prepare a list of 10 pieces you would like. Kind of like your Santa Wish List…BUT don’t get greedy. Keep our spendy items to 1 or 2 please. Please include basic parts. As much as we all would like to see a bunch of fig parts show up, we all need some basic parts. Also, please remember you are supposed to keep this under $10.

Gather a bricklink link for each item, so that confusion can’t happen. For example, say I post light bley antenna. That is waaaaaay to generic of a description. For example, a list like this is best:

Antenna 1x4
Antenna 1x4 flat top
Antenna 6H no stud receptacle
Antenna whip 8h
Antenna, insect

3) Reply to this thread like this, BEFORE July 11th.

Yes! I would love to be part of this!

4) Now send Ms Blue (that’s me!) a private message your address and wish list.

Oh…didn’t I mention that? You won’t be partnered with anyone. The only person who will know who is shipping to who is Ms Blue (that’s me!).

5) On or about July 12th you’ll receive a private message from Ms Blue (that’s me!) with address and the wish list.

6) You are not to contact your person. This is a secret Christmas in July. Gather the parts you are willing to gift and put it in the mail! Tracking is up to you. I do not actually care to see that.

Keep the info in case there are problems. If there are problems, please contact Ms Blue (that’s me!). I may ask to see proof of mailing so keep your receipt.

Here is a special note: you do not have to send all of the parts. If you don’t have a part, don’t sweat it. You can add multiples of any. I’m sure that any part you send will be adored by the person receiving it. Just like on your wish list to Santa…you don’t always get everything you wish for. And if you are Santa, sometimes you can’t give everything that has been asked for.

7) When your package arrives, please take pictures and thank your July Santa.

Happy Jingle Jingle Jingle!

I'm ready to do the random thing, but I don't have two people's info...so I'm paused and waiting.

I sent out the private messages with the wishlists and addresses just now. If you did not receive on, please private message me. I believe everyone has everything, but you never know...sometimes it's easy to mess up.

Please send your gift as soon as you can and keep it secret. It's just more fun that way.

When you receive yours, please take a picture and thank your santa. Use this thread for bragging and chatter!

Triple post? Sure why not? Trying to have fun here...and chatter a little..and encourage chatter. I'm having SO much fun digging out the things for my wishlist person. I love playing santa. Bet none of the rest of you are watching Christmas in July movies while pulling parts like I am. :halo:

Sweet. I'm trying to pull everything but I have an event this weekend so I'm building and putting aside pieces as I go. Humming Christmas carols. I probably won't ship until next week. Building under a deadline...always.
