You have to submit them to the entry page, then the admins will go through each and every entry to approve it. Placing them in this forum just lets people talk about what you built.

No entries have been approved yet.

As I have been planning my builds I have come across a few more questions:

1) For the Siege Warfare category, can the siege weapon be on a base (i.e. attacking a castle wall) or does it have to be on its own?

2) Is any overhang allowed? (i.e. a bit of a tree, or a minifig's spear) not excessively of course

3) A question about the answer to question #9, does this paragraph on the Categories and Prizes page still apply?

"Custom stickers may be used for minifigure torsos, shields, and flags. You may use custom weapons only in the Custom Castle Figure and Miscellaneous categories. Brick built, custom, and LEGO animals can be used."

Thanks in advance!

Thanks! That makes sense... I just wasn't sure why it wasn't showing up... Thanks again!

ReeseEH wrote:In light of that, is there any restrictions on the size of the ships? I saw something about maximum size being 2 baseplates, but I'm not sure if it applies to that category.
8. The admins decided to increase the ship category size to three 32x32 baseplates.
Does the medieval warship category have to be realistic? Can it be fantasy in nature such as featuring Orcs and Sea serpents. Does it actually have to be a sea-going vessel - i am thinking of building something like a flying-dragon-warship-thing with orcs leaping on to a fortress wall. NOT steampunk no definitely not going there, but using medieval castle set style - wood, sails, wizards and magic.
11. Fantasy ships and realistic ships are allowed. However all ships must be in water. This is not an airship category.
For the Siege Warfare category, can the siege weapon be on a base (i.e. attacking a castle wall) or does it have to be on its own?
13. Yes. You can build a scene for your siege weapon. However the primary grading will be on the siege weapon.
Is any overhang allowed? (i.e. a bit of a tree, or a minifig's spear) not excessively of course
14. Yes. A small amount (two or three studs) of overhang is allowed for a few accessories and foliage. Excessive overhangs may move your moc to the misc. large category.
Custom stickers may be used for minifigure torsos, shields, and flags. You may use custom weapons only in the Custom Castle Figure and Miscellaneous categories. Brick built, custom, and LEGO animals can be used.
15. Yes.

For the historic illumination category, does it have to be a real piece of medieval artwork in LEGO form, or just that style but perhaps of our own invention?

16. Sorry entertainers are not what is meant for this specific category. But feel free to use them in the misc.

17. Yes a medieval inspired artwork will be fine.

Approving the entries has begun. The naughty list hasn't been made but I can tell you that I have already found entries that will not be approved due to image size.

Please re-read these rules about images and edit your entries:
Each submission is limited to five photographs except custom figures which are limited to three photographs. Each photograph should be no larger than 1600 x 1280 pixels in a portrait or landscape orientation. You may edit your images digitally, but only to clean up the images for presentation. Each entry should include at least one image with a white background to improve the grading process. LDraw images are acceptable but these entries must use readily available pieces, not large quantities of rare pieces, colors, or figures, and they must also be physically possible. Composite images are only allowed to show some action feature (e.g. an inset photo to show falling axes or a trap door swinging).

As of this moment, I have approved every entry I can. If you do not see your entry it is because of one of these three reasons:

1) The Brickshelf pictures are not public yet.

2) You have too many pictures. (You are only allowed 5...see above post.)

3) Your images are TOO BIG. (see above post) There are multiple entries with this problem.

Quoting Admins:
Hey guys, I resubmitted my entries, and I did fix the size of the image to fit correctly, sorry I didn't read it carefully previously... Thanks!

As of this moment Nov 26 at 11:10 am est, all entries that can be approved have been. If you do not see your entry(s) then you have one of these three issues:

1) Your brickshelf photos have not been approved. This is an issue for about 7 entries.

2) Your images are TOO BIG. Please review the rules. This is an issue for about 3 entries.

3) Something is wrong with your link for pictures. This is an issue for about 3 entries.

If you don't see your entry, please contact me and I will help you with the issues.
