Jayko with printed torso

Not sure if this has been pointed out yet or not.. sorry if it has.

I was at LLCA today and saw the KK2 watches and clocks were out - and both had a jayko fig in it with a printed torso and no armor.

Here is a scan of the torso:

The rest of the fig is the same, nothing different.

I still don't get it why they never printed anything useful on the torsos. Scale mail would have been soooo cool, even a breastplate would be better than nothing. Now they take away the only redeeming quality of these figs , the euro armour, and print the lame design on the torso. The Rascus in Citadel of Orlan still picks me. No matter, all the whining in the world will not change this either (just like the colours being changed)

Hello!

I like the fact that they print such a design on the torso. Imagine it some kind of jerkin that the fig is wearing underneath his armour. I also like the printed Rascus-torso in the Citadel set. I'm rather bothered by the torsos that are not printed at all. THAT's cheap.

BUT the plain torsos are a good way to get peasants and such.

wish they had one in brown for a monk haha

Those are no torso designs to me, just the things they got on their armour (and look like crap)
but it is better than nothing, of course

Just use the brown robe Anakin has in the Star Wars sets...

Well I want one of those minifigs...the printed torso's are actually alright...I hope we can see the other figs with printed torso's...a Vladek like that would prove to be useful...

Sweet, maybe I'll check out my Local Lego Store (Burlington) to see if they have that clock. Jaycko is my favorite KKII knight, mostly becuase of the head.

Looks ok, the printed torso is a nice idea. But I think the figure looks silly as the helmet looks too big without the armor.

The printed torsos are ok. They're better than nothing. Its pretty cheap of LEGO to do that like everyone else said. I don't really wanna purchase a clock or a watch to get the Jayko. I'm not really interested in getting the set with the Green guy either.

I wish they would have just made everyone with a printed torso and armor, that'd make the KK2 a little better in my book.

there are studs on the band of the watch, but I do not think he is supposed to go there. He is just an extra little bonus.
