LEGO Ideas third 2020 review results - lighthouse, no castle

Post by Bruce N H »

Hey all,

LEGO Ideas has announced results from the 3rd 2020 review period. There will be one set based on this group, a lighthouse designed by Sandro Quattrini.

Sadly, no Castle sets were chosen, even though there were several options. I broke them down in this thread. I had thought the Roman Warship was a good possibility, so this continues my streak of not being able to predict LEGO Ideas decisions at all. :) Also, I thought the Bag End was a great build, though I didn't really think it would become a set because of the previous Bag End official set. Ah, well. There are a ton of castle sets in the next review period - results due out "fall 2021". I broke down those proposals in this thread.

I think the lighthouse will look nice, but I agree - sadly no castle. I'm crossing my fingers for the next round with 5 castles (if I recall correctly) and hopefully at least 2 accepted submissions.
