Oh the hours I have spent here in the last year  Though I did not join until the 18th, the fact that I visit this site more than once a day somedays, means I have been here a lot.

I appreciate all the work that goes into the site by the Admins as well as the fact that the atmosphere is generally welcoming. Sure there is the odd flare up, but it has always been handled well. by said Admins.

I look forward to what is in store for the future. Happy Birthday Classic-Castle.com! :D

NOW I can celebrate! :) I am so grateful for this site. Thank you everyone who has made it so.

Actually, one year ago I was googleing for Lego fan sites - I found this one, but didn't take much notice till about a month later when I joined. I remember some of the first "How-to" articles as well - especially the one on how to create a field of convincing looking wheat.

Ahhh, the memories...

Wooohoooo! Happy birthday.

I think the concentration and specialization in only castle has really been a boon for Castle fans, so a big hand to the admins and fans that have made this such a great site for young and old.

Put another candle on my birthday cake
We're gonna bake a birthday cake
Put another candle on my birthday cake
I'm another year old today
I'm gonna have a party with my birthday cake
Come on and take some birthday cake
Put another candle on my birthday cake
I'm another year old today
We'll have some pie and sandwiches
and chocolate ice cream too
We'll sing and play the day away
and one more thing I'm going to do
I'll blow out the candles on my birthday cake
and when I do, a wish I'll make
Put another candle on my birthday cake
I'm another year old today

I was camping. I had never heard of CC. After the camping trip, I discovered Ikros, and its Links page. After lurking around the here for about half a year, I made the plunge. Best plunge I ever made! And I can't swim. :D

I was two days late to the party last year, I knew a site was being planned, but I didn't know it had arrived. Once it did arrive, it quickly became my favorite fan destination. I used to peruse Lugnet more often even FBTB, but now I mostly stop here and Brickshelf. As a fan, this has been one of the best years I have had. There is a really great sense of community at this site and I hope it will continue until I am really, really old. :D

There have been some disappointments this year, bleys and KKII, but this site is what has kept me in the hobby. I know a few who have given up entirely over the bley issue and that would have been me if it hadn't been for this site. Yes I even contemplated selling my whole collection. Glad that Idea passed quickly.

Don't tell my wife, but I have a new cars worth of Lego in my basement. :D

So thank you Classic-Castle for keeping me in this great hobby. And without a new car!

Happy Birthday!

Will
After a long absence, I have returned. I can't wait to start building again.

ok - so its a Freak tradition -

Weird Al's happy birthday song - on your birthday. :D

Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you

Well, it's time to celebrate your birthday, it happens every year
We'll eat a lot of broccoli and drink a lot of beer
You should be good and happy that there's something you can eat
A million people every day are starving in the street

Your daddy's in the gutter with the wretched and the poor
Your mama's in the kitchen with a can of Cycle Four
There's garbage in the water
There's poison in the sky
I guess it won't be long before we're all gonna die

Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you

Well, what's the matter little friend, you think this party is the pits
Enjoy it while you can, we'll soon be blown to bits
The monkeys in the pentagon are gonna cook our goose
Their finger's on the button, all they need it an excuse

It doesn't take a military genius to see
We'll all be crispy critters after World War III
There's nowhere you can run to, nowhere you can hide
When they drop the big one, we all get fried

(Come on boys and girls, sing along, ok?)

Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you
wow! (background screaming, sound effect)

Well there's a punk in the alley and he's looking for a fight
There's an Arab on the corner buying everything in sight
There's a mother in the ghetto with another mouth to feed
Seems that everywhere you look today there's misery and greed

I guess you know the Earth is gonna crash into the sun
But that's no reason why we shouldn't have a little fun
So if you think it's scary, if it's more than you can take
Just blow out the candles and have a piece of cake

Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you
wow!

Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday
Happy birthday to you

(Happy Birthday!)

And a pinch to grow an inch!

YAY!!! GO C-C.C

Happy Birthday CC!

No I'm not going to sing a song or write a poem.

But I will thank all of the Admins and Members of this great site.

...When I first came here, I was an unsure teen, who thought he was much too old for LEGO.

But thanks to this community I have felt a sense of a security, a security in a "family" of LEGO enthusists. Without this site, and others like, it is likely my LEGOs would be collecting dust.

Today, 1 year later, I am a 16-year-old LEGO fan! And Megablocks it I produd  !!! And I can't wait for the joys of being AFOL!

Thank you Classic-Castle.com, thank you Admins, thanks to all the friends I met along the way. You've shown me its ok to play :D

You have made me what I am today...A CastleFREAK!

Sincerly,

Dragon Master (formerly "THE DRAGON MASTER" my first account here at CC.com)

P.S. I loo foward to another great year of Castle FUN!
