And we're gonna party like it's 999!
And in celebration of the momentous occassion I replaced my avatar/image thingee with something a little better than the mini-mizer "me"

One year ago, i was most likely sitting in my dorm at my computer, surfing for folks castle creations on the internet... mainly at Lugnet and Brickshelf
I came to this one because it was linked at Lugnet.castle... didn't join till the past summer
Funny, most of my friends' brithdays are today also.

One year, eh? I have lurked since the beginning. I remember when Jojo was a Baliff and Formendacil was a gong farmer.
Thanks to everyone for helping to create and participate this great site. Thanks in particular go to Lord Sava for his invaluable stickers and temlates and to Jojo, for no particular reason, LegoFreak, for Henry, Jamit, for all the time I wasted trying to find the picture of him(I never did...) Glencaer, for the People's Bathtub and Kill Bill, and of course, to Lord of the Lego for the amazing RP.
A special mention goes to everyone who was ever in the chat with me, for bearing my links!

DUDE!!
*hic*
Dang, I've spent to much time at the pub....

One year ago I:
visited LUGNET once a day
was a Space fan
distained castle ( :!: )
couldn't spell 'trebuchet'
didn't know what a online roleplay was
was 15 years of age
couldn't write HTML
didn't know how to operate a motor vehicle
etc
And now look at me today!
I didn't join CC.com until October, but every since I have been hooked! I visit CC.com three for four or five times a day, climbing my way up from Gong Farmer to Gaming Admin, and now my castle MOCs outweigh my space MOCs big time! When I buy a set, I think would these pieces be useful for castles?, and I have made many friends here at CC.com. I enjoy every minute here at CC.com, particually the Classic Castle Roleplay!
Play well, and build on!
PS- 800th post!

Sound the trumpet
sound sound
sound the trumpet till around
you make the list'nin shore rebound, rebound
the list'nin shore rebound
On the sprightly hautboy play
the sprightly hautbay play
all the instruments of joy
all, all, all, all the instruments of joy
of joy..that skillful numbers can employ
to celebrate..to celebrate
the glories
the glories
of this day
Henry Purcell
Ode on the birthday of Queen Mary, 1694
Perhaps a few hundred years late in composition, but the sentiment is apt. Yay C-C.com!

Sitting in a midnight glade
Firelight dancing off burnished blade
A Forestman sits
Wondering about the next day
But after three mugs of ale
Let it bring what it may.

Happy Birthday to us! This has become my first and only "fan" site. I get on here nearly everyday. Most people my age don't know how to turn on a computer, let alone be in an "online community." Of course Grandpa Footsteps will know more about that. Did the cake have a trick candle on it?

I ahve only been a member here a few months but it had been great.
This is a real nice community and I am glad to be a member here.
I promised myself not to cry.. b...but.. this is the best birthday ever!
A year ago, I was a member at FBTB and didn't even know this site existed. I had NO castle sets at all!
But then I got the legend BFF and it wasn't until about May that I became a castle fan, but this site has helped me with my hobby and I have made a few friends.
So thanks to all the guys who run the site!
Jon.
