Hi JP,

Our CC Forum policy is not to support leaks. We define a leak as information that has not been publicly released by LEGO at an event, online, or in a magazine/catalog. So if they have not said anything, we do not want to say anything either.

Thanks,

Ben E.

Then how did that come out and is in PRE ORDER?

Leaks tend to come from German sources. How'd they get the actual set names in English as well as prices?

Its not like we are alerted by Lego themselves about their new sets.

Lego has had problems with distributors leaking set images and prices too early - Marz Distribution did it last year and now they are not selling Lego anymore.

The reason the CC admins do not want to support leaks is that we want to have a relationship with Lego to get previews of new castle sets like other sites recieve (Fbtb.net and iltco.org) and to coordinate with displays and maybe local castle clubs. Sharing leaks does not help us help the CC members.

I know it seems unfair, but we'd prefer the set information and pictures to either come from LEGO directly as an official release (to this website or otherwise) or from another website after said release. As this is an unofficial LEGO site, we want LEGO to be happy with us, and we'd rather not hear from LEGO's lawyers. At least I don't want to.

I see no announcement of this on FBTB's home page. If it is mentioned in their forums bu someone other then a lego employee it is not an official announcement.

If FBTB wishes to allow such leaks, that is up to them. It has no bearing on Classic Castle.
