Brickfest

Post by Jedipawn »

A question for anyone out there who has gone to brickfest before. Will there be a lot of buying and selling going on? Just trying to figure out if I need to bring my savings down with me. On another note, Anyone else going to brickfest in Portland?? its in about a month. Would love to meet some of you and put faces with the creations if you know what I mean.
Also is CC putting anything on in terms of workshops or whatnot?
Looking forward to this!!!!!!!!!!!

There is, without any doubt, alot of buying and selling.
I'd bring plenty of cash if you plan on partaking.

Oh, and I'll be there.

Hi Jedipawn,

Please post topics in the correct categories. Lego Castle is for set discussion only. Displays or general Lego is better for this topic. Thanks :D

Lenny Hoffman, the City Admin, will be going. I hope to go but I may not be able to.

There will probably be a castle discussion - what the group wants to do in the future and how to accomplish that.

People will have Lego for sale at Brickfest.

I had a small question to ask, and seeing as it is sort of on-topic I thought I would ask it in this post.

Will only the registered people at Brickfest be able to buy? I'd be fairly certian that you have to be to sell, but what about buying?

I'm asking because I will be going on Sunday when it's open to the public since I can't register, and was also wondering if I should be bringing some cash with me.

Thanks in advance!

Charlie -
No, you do not have to register in order to buy from any
of the dealers. You might have to wait until it's public,
unless you show up at some point and pay the normal
registration fee(before it goes public).

Either way - you're good for buying.

one more question. I understand that Brickfest has set up a discount deal with the Red Lion next door. My question is this; is there anyone out there who is going to all three days that would like to split a double room with my wife and I? after some checking I found that the $69 rate is the same for one bed or two. I would like to split that if possable.

thanks in advance!

Hi, have you posted to the pdx.brickfest.com roommate page?

That may work for you if you haven't satisfied your needs yet.

Jedipawn- Please email me! I'm the castle coordinator, and I'd like to have a good idea of what you're bringing, etc. (especially if it is 3CS)

cant wait to see you there!

thanks
