Cinderella's Castle!

Post by Dragon Master »

Hello,

I had originally said that Neuschwanstein Castle was the castle that tha Cinderella's castle was based on. However I am wrong.

Sleeping beauty's castle was based on Neuschwanstein. At this time I am unsure of which castle Cinderella's was based on.

Sorry for this misinformation. However some elements of Neuschwanstien can be seen in Cinderella's castle, it is more manifest in Sleeing Beauty's castle!

Here is a link to sleeping Beauty's castle:

Neuschwanstein, is much nicer in my opinion!

But that isn't even a medieval castle! Neuschwanstein was built in the late 1800's and based on Teutonic castles, especially:

Well just thought I'd share those neato pics. I think its appropriate because of the recent Cinderella mocs. But I included the history just in case.

Yours truly,

None of these are really Castles in a strictly literal sense, considering that none were made in the Middle Ages, and none were built for defense. Still, who can deny their attractive appearance?

Neuschwanstein is the best of this bunch, but I have to say that I love its backdrop as much as the Caslte itself. Got to love the forest and mountain backdrop.

These castles are beauties in their own right. Of course, these are not really castles and some of them not even meant to live in.
But they are a nice inspiration and I will certainly build one of these.
But on my usual scale, it will take a while, so please, don,t sit and wait...

Thanks for sharing....
