Colossal Contest Question and Answer

Post by architect »

Hi Everyone,

I have noticed many threads of people with contest questions. If you have a question concerning your creation, post it here and I or Lenny (the contest admins 8) ) will answer it for you. Thanks!

In addition, you can email either of us or send us private messages and we will respond.

Hello,

I've sent my entry to Anthony Sava last week. I didn't get any confirmation and my entry (Guarded Water Mill) is missing in today's update.

Please accept my apologies. I just found your original email after reading this post. It just got lost in the shuffle. Thanks for bringing it to my attention, I'll get to it first thing tomorrow.

Hi Anthony,

I send you an e-mail for my entry in the contest some days ago and I didn't receive confirmation of the reception of this e-mail. I can't know if you received it.

So I'll put the link here.
http://www.inorchestral.com/David_Girar ... rriage.htm

It's for the Carts category.

Thanks in advance.

I dont know if this is the case for some entries but:

If your entry does not completely comply with the contest rules after January 10th, Anthony will not get back to you about it.

Please make sure your entry meets the requirements. An example is only having 3 pictures for each entry.

I would also wait until Anthony comments on your question.

Thanks :D

I know I won't get a confirmation if all my entries met the rules (which I'm fairly sure they did) but if someone could tell me you got my entry email (sent on Saturday the 10th) that would be great as sometimes when my email bounces I never get the rejection letter. Sorry to be a pain about it but it has been a few days and I'm not on the entries list yet and I know they go up in batches... but ...

Thanks,
Andy

Ok, got a question. Can the wall pieces in the Classic Shops category be black, or do they have to be the traditional grey?

They could be black. But then they should probably fit the Black Monarch's Castle (6085) profile. Sets like 6034 are examples of black wall Classic Shops.

Just wondering why in Megablocks my name isn't on the list despite the fact that I went as far as to show people what my entry looked like on chat. :x :x :x

The Korean "Kobukson" (Turtle Ship).

Just in case no one remembers...

And to compare what a real one actually looks like...

I submitted it Sat. evening (1/17/2004), as I was told the deadline was on Monday.
