Post by gerkenz »

Hi, I saw some posts about the entries of their MOCs.

So here is my entry with all pictures I've made of it:

wow, thats great.

There needs to be a SIZE limit in the misc. category so people with lots of bricks don't have an advantage over people who don't have a lot of bricks...

Oh well, *sigh*, great creation. great design, and good job on getting a bunch of black falcons. I'm jealous!

Very nice I saw this on the entries page and wondered who made it. I realy like the compact scale. As someone already said, Not to large not too small. A perfect size. I like the small details but there aren't too many to overwhellm or cluter the MOC.

Can't wait to see more entries from you!

Wow! That looks really big on a minifig scale. But I'd assume they'd bring catapults and tunnel diggers.

This is very well done... not only do you have a large castle, but you've included all kinds of detail as well... all the makings of a good creation...

the part with the stained glass window is a really cool touch as well... i wonder how well that works when it's all lit up?

great job ~

Great looking MOC, but I would not call that castle/fortress "impregnable".

your comments ;)

thanx for all your comments about my lastest MOC.

yes...."impregnable" is just a cool description of a castle that should be impregnable! ;)
And you all know - if you name your MOC "Falcons Castle" - noone will ever remind this MOC in a few years by it's name ;)

Maybe I should have made the rock on top of a blue "water"-plate - so the diggers have to wear swimsuits :D

 I've made 2 pictures with Lights on - I'll post them next week.

Very well done. I love the inner details thats really just make it more than a place to fight and more of barracks. To me the best part to castles is the living spaces inside, where soldiers eat and sleep and what not. Since castles were not just places that a soldier would goto every morning, they lived and slept there.

Beautifully don.e

Nice. That you can take apart layer, by layer is quite impressive. As for impregnable, I don't why they're all astir over that; it's propaganda, since when have you heard of the Weak and Vulnerable Falcon's rock?

Nice looking Castle. Don't really have too much to say, except that by typical LEGO terms (such as in comparisom to other MOCs of a similar size, or to sets), this Castle comes fairly close to being impregnable. It does better than any of the official castles, anyway.

By the way, I find it REALLY incongruous seeing your avatar and signature sporting bright yellow Lion shields at the same time that you present a Black Falcon castle. Not REALLY surprising, I suppose, but funny.

Kai, there's not much left to say that I didn't on LUGNET. Just letting you know I'm the same "John Langrish"...

Awesome castle. The only thing I'd change is the landscaping. In fact, not change...just enhance. :)

My first Keep and the "White Lion Castle" were crusaders.
So I decided that they realy need an Enemy-MOCStyle-Castle .... :D

Not quiet right...the Falcons are my second favorite knights, and I wanted them to have a warm and impregnable ;) home.

I think the next castle will be for the classic knights ala #677 ;)

@Tennis Ball Kid: ( What a Nick :D ) Jep....Propaganda was very strong in the middle age - and is now. So: "Who will fight against the ROCK" :x ;)
