Elven Mage
Elven Mage
Hello All,
Just showing off my Elven Mage I made for the C-C contest.
The decals are all water slide which work very well, and are 99% transparent when applied. His ears were the funnest things to make, and I'm very pleased on how they came out. Well just thought I'd share him with you guys. Let me know that you think.
Enjoy.

Awesome Mage, Joey. Your custom work is incredible. I especially like the ears.

Yea, this is really well done - i'm feelin' some jealousy here... it must have taken a fair amount of work... but the results are very cool. Great job.

I just wanted to say that I love these stickers, they really envelope the idea of an elven mage, as opposed to a normal elf. Also, with some color changes, you could have a medicine man, or a sage, or all manors of things.

Thanks everyone for the great comments
The ears were made from some scrap pieces of a yellow scimitar that I had laying around, they don't match up perfectly, but I do agree that they look alot better then the ones on my sig fig. In the future I may redo his ears, only time will tell....
Here is the Brick Shelf folder incase you guys wanna see the other pictures. BTW, did I mention the little bird-like designs are gold foil (thanks to Red Bean )
Enjoy,

good job, really well done...BUT....
Please dont get me wrong I too customize figs and do support it but your idea with the ears just reminded me of the new pirate figs with their ears and noses that stick out. All I'm saying is lets not give Lego the idea that we want figures with protruding ears and noses already on them. If this happens I may just have to jump off a BURP.
