Brickshelf/Maj Question

Post by Dragon Master »

Hello,

How do I get a picture I took to replace the plain folder image in a particular folder. I already have one pic in this folder, but nothing is showing up on the title page of the folder itself.

Any tips?

Wait for it to be moderated. Once the folder has been moderated, the first image in the folder should appear in place of the folder icon.

If a folder contains nothing but subfolders, you need to include one image in the first folder. For instance, my Alternate Models folder appears as a simple folder because it contains no images, only subfolders:

My Castle folder, on the other hand, contains two images, seedpartmocs.jpg and deathtobarbieblueknights.jpg. In this case deathtobarbieblueknights is displayed because D goes before S.

I hope this helps!

How do I get cool text links like Jail?

Without the spaces, makes:

Maj

Hi DM - Thought it's already been answered, I'll add onto this a tiny bit, since you specifically brought me up.

If you want to see, this is the coding for my sig:

Code: Select all

[b][url=www.mocpages.com/home.php/132]MOCpages[/url] |  [url=www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?m=j1a3l5]Brickshelf[/url] | [url=www.maj.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?m=j1a3l5]Maj[/url] | [url=www.lugnet.com/people/members/?m=2530]LUGNET[/url][/b]
You'll notice the bold tags: Italics, bold and underline work with links too. Furthermore, images work with links as well. Add the image tags inside the "text" part of the link coding, and the image will become the link. For a more detailed account of this, check out Bruce's thread in this same forum, and thumbnails.
