One of the new Knights Kingdom sets had a Crow's Cage!!! (the hanging cage in which prisoners were left to rot)
I gotta get that one!
I can't wait for the Vikings.......
They should make a good rival for my Crusaders & Black Falcons.

Since I got back into LEGO a couple years ago, I've been meaning to make a barbarian force to rival my Castle army. I've ran several options through my head, the most likely has been Fright Knights, but I didn't want to spend my hard-earned money on that trash. Now I can have a sizable force of Vikings straight from the shelves! That, combined with my Mongol cavalry will make exactly the army I've been looking for all along. They're coming....

As much as I liked the old helms.. I was dissapoitned to see no chrome shadow knight helms. However, still chrome EURO armor, so im happy.

I wish Vikings were out sooner than they say. I agree the catalog looks more like it should. With little scenes going on instead of just the product on a page.

Everyone can remember the great sets lego had in their old catalogs.

Do I see a new helmet?
In the main castle just below the giant red vladek helmet. That chrome dark knight looks like he has a visor.

I think those 'chrome shadow knights' that have been mentioned several time are actually dull chrome, and possibly they are the rogue knights that had been mentioned in previous threads, which would explain the lack of Shadow Knight helms.
I think it's funny that the catalog says the new Star Wars sets will be out in April, when I just saw those two sets at Target and K-mart on Saturday.

Definitely. My interest in this line goes like this, from highest to lowest:

Highest:
Beards
:
New helms/weapons/printed shields
:
:
Longboat design
:
:
:
:
Other set designs
:
Bionicle-y monsters (though the newest dragon is a bit higher)
Lowest

Hey look at that; there is really going to be chrome euro armor! I really don't care whether it's shiny or dull chrome; it's a sensible color at least.

That picture of the fort look pretty good. I don't see any beards in it, but I wouldn't panic; there may be some that the picture doesn't show because of being to small, or there might be some hidden behind the walls.

Lookeing at the scans, I must say that Lego as a whole is looking up. Bley is still a letdown, but did anyone notice that various themes were being shown put together? It reminds me of what TLC used to do back in the early 90s. 2005 looks good. Additionally, the viking sets look ALOT better now. Hopefully even more refining will be done...
