Amazing landscaping by Brian Darrow

Post by Bruce N H »

Hi all,

Brian Darrow has created some awesome landscaping. Sure, it's covered with trains and modern buildings, but imagine this as the basis for a castle setting . . .

Its always the Trainheads who build the best landscapes. If only a few of them would convert to Castle.

This mountain rage is pretty nice. I like the overall shape, and the white-caps on the highest peak, however I think that the mixture of Light and Dark grey is too random. It might look better if there was a greater concentration of dark grey on the higher peaks, with the majority of the light grey at the base of the mountain. Still, that's really nice.

Still, my favorite mountain range has got to be this mountain range created for a NALUG train show. I don't know the buidlers, but this thing is absolutely amazing  !

Later.

I can SO see a castle sitting on that plateau, looking down over the valley. That landscaping is awesome!

This guy did an amazing job with his mountains. I've seen a lot of good landscaping thanks to links in this site, but this is probably the best mountain stuff I've seen yet. It's pretty much bang on!

Ooooh! Ooooh! Man! Wow! This is awesome!

He did a super job; my favorite part is the snow cap. You know, this guy is one of the few who equal Takeshi Itou in landscaping ability.

Thanks for pointing this out.
