Hey all, I was wondering, do any of you know what the name of this building is and if there are any websites about it?

Its not Himeji is it?

I believe that is Osaka Castle (Osakajo).
I remember seeing it in the mini-series "Shogun" which I bought on DVD a little while ago.

After researching this a bit, I belive the castle in question is Odawara-Jo - http://pages.ca.inter.net/~ttoyooka/oshiro/odawara.html
Now, the two pics do not match up perfectly, but they come pretty close. I belive the Maj photo is an older one and the castle has since been restored or something.

Actually, now I think it's Himeji castle (White Heron Castle).
Some of the Japanese Castles look extremely similar to one another.
Edit: Yep, it's Himeji....
compare the pics....

Yup, I have to go with Himeji also. At first I thought it was Osaka, but I'm pretty sure it is Himeji.

Here is KK Quah's webpage about Himeji Castle. It was this page that I saw long ago that helped me wonder if it was Himeji Castle.

He also has a Lego MOC of the Japanese Castle.
