New MOC by mysterious marakoeschtra: Tower in the Forest

Post by Jojo »

Hello!

Since marakoeschtra seems not to follow our forums I thought I'd show it on behalf of her/him. It's an interesting building technique that makes it look quite unique. I also like the clarity and cleanness in her/his arrangements.

Wow, that's awesome. I absolutely love the tree incorporated into the tower. And that tower is a great use of SNOT. Most impressive.

Jojo beat me to it, I was just skimming through posts in the other sections and was then going to post on this MOC here. He also seems to have updated his village and houses folders, though I don't remember which pictures are old and which are new.

The shape of the tower is really interesting, and it's nice that he gives some pictures of interior construction details to show how he did it. The tree limbs growing out of the upper level are very cool, though I suspect that in real life this would mean that the tree would have totally taken over the interior of the tower (there's actually an abandoned grain silo on a farm near my parents' home like this, it looks cool, but the silo is useless for storage). One detail that is easy to overlook is this little hay trough for the horses. I thought that was a nice touch.

I really like this tower. The construction is quite interesting. This individual is clearly an accomplished builder! My only complaint is that this tower doesn't have a finished interior! Still, its nice to see a great MOC like this every once-in-a-while!

Later.

That's a great creation! The SNOT work is great and the angled well is a nice touch.

In fact I wondered why you hadn't posted about this MOC here already, and I checked the MOC section twice before I dared to post, in order to avoid a doublet :-)

Hmmm, a verrrrrrryyyyyyyy good MOC. I really like the way he built it with next to no bricks, per-say. And the design, well reminded me of Jojo's stuff. Must be related.

As for the interiour, well, their is not a heck of a lot of room to put an interiour in.

I build, therefore I am.
