IndyLUG Castle Display

Post by Paladin »

This past weekend, IndyLUG had a three day show encompassing town/train, space, and castle/fantasy type themes. Each area had a huge turnout of MOCs. Our castle display included a large 5x8 (of 32x32 bps) castle set up by one member and an expansive area filled by many more, including one classic-castle standard walled castle with a tudor village and bazzar, stonehenge (pre-destruction), a beacon tower with some pirate ships, and some other castle-y mocs.

Here are some galleries from our members that have uploaded and moderated thus far(note the galleries do not pertain soley to the castle area).

That castle sure looks like something I've seen somewhere before... I think it was some work-in-progress pictures of it I saw...

Well, there were about 13 members that contributed to the entire layout Sir Dillon. Of those about 7 of them contributed MOCs, 8 of them minifigs, and just about everyone baseplates to the castle section.

Which castle did you mean Umgarla?

The really large multilevel castle at the one end of the layout was done by a guy named Peter, but he just created his brickshelf account the other day.

A guy named John built the grey keep that's really close to the bridge.

I built the central castle in the walled city I did have some WIP pictures of it as I built it. I also built the small black and red castle with the airship next to it...no individual pics of it are on brickshelf.
