So, how do you pronounce all those things out there in the roleplay? Here's the place to post it!

Interesting thread, I guess. Here's my main characters:

Sir Dractor rhymes with tractor.
the Old Man I won't bother explaining.
Elwen is ELL-when
the Sorceror-king: see the Old Man's answer.
Bernard Quorandis is Bernard quo-RAND-iss
Elbadar is ell-BA-dar
Jayko Falconensis is JAE-ko fall-CO-nen-siss

Really, though, all of my characters are given spellings that match how they are pronounced.

What I'd like to know is how Nathan pronounces Viktor's last name.

This is also the case with most if not all of my characters (and I think everyone else's characters too)

I have always prononced it B-jarn too, and I probably will always prononce it like that because I'm used to it that way... Well, maybe I can break the habit

I never could make my mind up (no Scandinavian ancestry, you see), but I tended to go with

bee-YARN ("j" in some Latin-derived languages is pronounced like "y" in English).

Believe it or not, I, too, couldn't settle on how to pronounce Bjarn's name for the longest while. He's gone from

bah-GHORNE
BARN
BAIRN
BUH-jarn
bee-YARN
bee-GHAIRN
bah-jon
and more, until I settled upon:
BAY-AIRN

So, have I been pronouncing the Misfits all wrong?

Here's how I read them:

Reno: RHIN-NOE
Barbod: BAR-bodd
Bjarn: BAY-AIRN
Drakko: DRAY-co
Willem: WILL-emm
Graygon: gray-GONE

Well, I don't own any of the Misfits, so my opinion doesn't really matter, but they look alright to me.

Except Reno. I pronounce it exactly the same what as the Nevada City (REE-no)

Also, I assume that the -GONE in your pronunciation of Graygon sounds like the word "gone".
