Very Nice work Jeff,
Any plans on doing a LOTResque line? I really like that sword, now a set of LOTR swords all in chrome that would be sweeeeet. Is an expansion to the current castle weapons line planned? Keep us posted.

After a long absence, I have returned. I can't wait to start building again.

Hmmm...will I be doing a LOTResque line of weapons?
Maybe. I'll let you guys know if that becomes a "yes".
As for the custom Anduril -
That was made for a friend of mine, as a one-of-a-kind
handmade gift...or something like that.
I had to go back(after taking the pic)and shorten the
guards a little because they bumped the minifigs arm.
The latest pic(anduril3)is the new version.

Or maybe who ever flips the bill for the new mold gets to choose.
All I am saying is right now Jeff is on a steady path of making historic style weapons. Which for now I am all for and cannot wait for another series of weapons to be offered. Now there is nothing wrong with the idea of future thoughts of where The Little Armory may be going, but the thing is I know Jeff is working on other future projects that demand his attention at the moment. I just see that without Jeff saying yes or no to making LOTR weapons it may give false hope to someone that really wants them. Now if Jeff did offer up any of those they would be awesome and I would be right there in line ready to order. I have everything he has offered publicly and they are hands down one of the best after market addition to Lego. (right next to Armorman's stuff, but that is a different post all together) I would just like to wait and hear from Jeff what he is planning before I try and decide for him what he wants to make. Or if I can get that much change saved up I do have some ideas.
Just my thoughts, I am/was not trying to bash the poll or the thread in any way if I came out that way. I was just looking at it from the business point of view.

If it doesn't fit FORCE IT! If it breaks then it needed to be replaced anyways.

Okay, so is it supposed to be a pole-axe, a halbard, or artfully in-between? I like the addition of the butt-spike.

It's a pole-arm, with an axe head. Maybe "pole-axe" isn't
the appropriate term, but you know what I mean.
I know pole-arms had a few different heads anyway, like
the hammerhead with top and back spike. I might
have to make that one too! I decided to go with the axe
head for the more intimidating look.
Either way, it's one version of a pole-arm.
BTW - I changed the pic(link)name to "pole-arm".
What did you think of the "war sword"?

The short version of all that: it's an in-between.Blasterman wrote:It's a pole-arm, with an axe head. Maybe "pole-axe" isn't

I like the pole-axe with the rather small and straight-edged blade parallel to the pole and the hammer on the reverse, but what you have is in the realm of that wonderfully vague world of medieval pole-axes. It is also works as a Halbard, though the blade edge is a bit too convex. My dismounted knights currently use the early Lego halbard, which works as a pole-axe except there is no balancing spike or hammer on the reverse.
The War Sword: Doesn't look that much different from your previous sword. Is it bigger? It was a flat guard rather than a curved one. I like it, of course - it just doesn't seem to offer a significant enough variation (but if you are doing a whole set, another sword would probably be welcome). Perhaps one that tapered more towards the point? The war axe, on the other hand, is a greater visual variation from the previous one, so I like that better.
