Hi all,

No figs getting blown up, crashing cars, or getting eaten by sharks here, just a nice peaceful stroll in the forest:

This began as a study in tree design. I don't know of other plate-built trees using 1xn plates like this. It was inspired directly by Jorge Fernandez' trees. All of my green plates are tied up right now, and I had a bunch of yellow, so I built the first tree just to play with the idea. I was pretty happy with it, and the yellow tree put me in mind of Anthony's fall trees, so that led to the rest of the scene. BTW, that's all of my dark red and orange plates, I believe.

What's wrong with figs blowing up?!

Very nice, I really like the way the trees look.

I agree - these trees are really well done - and I think it's always good to see new ideas for trees, since the models lego sells are really just "shrubs" or baby pines.

Really nice. A peaceful vignette, for a change. :) I like the sand green base. The only thing I think could be better is if you mixed the colours in the trees a little, instead of each tree being a seperate colour; and possibly threw in a wee bit of green and sand green to spruce it up a little, since rarely do all the leaves on a tree turn at once. Still, great work.
