Pictures and Report

MichLUG was invited to display and run games at the Foundation Gaming Convention in Lansing, Michigan. The event ran from April 1st till April 3rd. Peter Guenther ran BrickQuest and BrickMech, while I ran Brick Battles. We also setup a 8'x7.5' medieval town layout. It was a fairly sleepy village until the undead horde stormed the beach walls. Rick Hallman setup an Eastern Block display, complete with T-49 C.R.U.S.H. In all, it was a lot of fun and the F-Con guys are great to work with.

Just like to add what a tremendous series of displays you had! It was amazing in both detail and scale.

I came to Foundations on Sunday, and played 1 round of brick-battles, and had a great time. I loved that our round ended with every single thing on the field (including the horses) dying.
Water sleeps.

Murgen,

Glad to hear that you enjoyed the static displays we had setup as well as the Brick Battles game. Right now, MichLUG has a lot of activities on our plate, but I'm hoping that later in the year things will calm down and we can work with Foundation again. I know I had a lot of fun that weekend and look forward to repeating it.

Also on a personal note, I'm hoping to find some free time to devote to other projects to add more features to the castle display.
