Go to mwart.com (on the menu it's under the KOH collection) and you can see some of the swords and costumes athat are featured in the movie. I really really like the swords and scabards. The scabards actually come with a belt! That's kinda rare.
I really wish I could get a costume and sword and stuff but it's kinda expensive.

All I can say is AMAZING!!!
You thought the siege engines in Lord of the Rings were good? The ones in Kingdom of heaven look ten times better!
Theres also a ton of other film clips from the movie on this site.

Yes, I just recently saw Kingdom of Heaven. All I can say is Ridley Scott is basically my favorite director. The movie was amazing. Spectacular scenery, a great plot, intriguing symbolism, and sweet battle scenes litter the entire movie. It is one of those movies that really makes you think of all the great things you can do with your legos when you get home. Gladiator was great and so is Kingdom of Heaven.

Yup, I just saw it this weekend. Its better than what I expected.
I will admit, when I was watching the siege.....lol, for some strange reason I started looking for Gandalf as well as Hector somewhere on the battlements.
I now wish Ridley Scott directed & produced Alexander as well as Troy. Those two movies would've done so well under his guidance.

I kind of agree with that. The storyline could have been better. I thought the pace of the movie felt a little jumpy too. But it was still an amazing movie.I agree with the reviews when they say it has a lack of a storyline
I read online that they will release an "Extended Edition" DVD version sometime in the future which will contain all the original footage Ridley Scott wanted in the movie. Apparently Scott had to cut about an hour & 20 min out of the movie to keep it down to about 2 and a half hours.
The extra footage will probably add a lot more to the storyline. Maybe some more action scenes too?

In many places(most notably the battles) it ends abruptively. From all the other sword fighting movies I've seen this one has the most "loop holes" so there must be like 80 minutes cut from it. Either that or the writers have problems.

Well, personally I loved the movie. I do enjoy going for the battle scenes and other such elements, however, I would personally never say that it has no storyline. The movie was about the Crusades and the waring people who fought for the freedom they found in their religion. In my opinion, most of the people who write reviews need to find another line of work.
Well, the story may have been a bit choppy... The battles did often end a bit abruptly. Although, on the other hand, the movie was about a portion of the CRUSADES. I would not consider the Crusades a perfectly consistent, smooth flowing, simple time period to base a movie off of (just some thoughts).
P.S. hope i got those darn quote things to work right.

I think they'll probably put the battle where the Templars and Hospitalers *tried* to attack the Saracens... but got wiped out.

My thoughts exactly. That was a too important scene to cut out. That was one of the two scenes that really freaked me out. Seeing all those guys alive one second and pin coushins a minute later. That and when the King's mask was taken off.JPinoy wrote:I think they'll probably put the battle where the Templars and Hospitalers *tried* to attack the Saracens... but got wiped out.

I wish Lego has a headgear piece like that mask. I would LOVE to use such a thing on one of my factions. I think it makes the character look real mysterious wearing a that type of mask.
Im still wondering why they would have that kind of a movie have 1 hr and 40 mins of it removed. Its not like its a long and boring one like Alexander. There's plenty of fight scenes in it.
As for the extended version... I have this sickening feeling they might show more of what those Templars did to the Saracens when Reynald went raiding to tempt Salahaudin into war. Ugh... so glad that character got what was coming to him.
