I hope no one has thought of this before, if so, I'm not trying to copy you. I was messing with some grey plates, and the result:

Except, I don't know what to do with it now. Any ideas? Please?
What the world needs now is Lego, sweet Lego.

ok - well now I am going to copy you!
The first possibility that I can see is the top of a tower with a guard house that is offset. Picture four towers, each with a guard house on top, (or whatever the technical term for it is...) and I think it would be awesome.
I am sure that there will be more ideas coming from this crowd. These builders rock!

I gots an idea! If you got colored tiles plates (small ones, 1x1 or 2x2). Fill in the dimond with these plates or tiles. It would give it a nice artsy look. Good for a ballroom or even throne room.

Interesting, it would be fun to see if you could use this for some sort of differently shaped corner tower on a keep or wall. It is hard to the the lego geometry right though.

I was thinking that it would make an interesting floor pattern. Brendan P. Smith has done a lot with using wedge plates to make floor patterns in his Bricktestament. E.g.:
