Steinford by Andreas Böker

Post by Bruce N H »

Hi all,

Check out Steinford by Andreas Böker:

Image Image Image

He discusses this MOC in this Lugnet thread and this 1000steine.de thread.

(Yes, I know he has the town dressed up in modern clothes, but the castle, half-timbered buildings, and the crane in the harbor are all 'castle-y'.)

BTW, I'm linking galleries of pics from 1000SteineLand in this thread over in "displays".

My Steinford

Post by abhf »

Hi Bruce,

thank you for my Steinford-Moc here on CC.

I never thought, this might of interest for castle-fans because it is only part of a scene in the 30th. But you are right, this could easily be pushed back in time......

Have a lot fun with my pictures of Steinford.

Andreas Böker is one of my more faverite builders. He thinks up things I would never think of. House Moc II is by far his best MOC. :)

But I would like to know, how did you make the tree in the garden?

Trees

Post by abhf »

Hi James,

I hope you are asking for the trees here:

Image

These trees are built of 4x 2339 (brick arch 1x4x5), some plate 1x2 - 1x6 and a lot of green leaves. The sten is built with brick round 2x2. The connection between stem an the upper part is a technic axle...

Most simple.

have a lot of fun building these.

No, I was talking about the trees seen in this picture inside the tan fence.

Second tree

Post by abhf »

Hi James,

these trees?

Image

Ok, these are very simpel. You only need two brick 1x1 with 4 studs on sides (4733), one bar 4l ( 30374) and 9 flowers. Put the two bricks together, then put these on the bar and finish with the flowers, one on the top and twice 4 flowers around the bricks. Thats all.

Both of those tree designs are great, and simple. I'll bookmark this for later use....

Ah, OK. That should be added to the "Creating trees and foliage".
