star charts and Clasic-Castle Roleplay

Post by boses »

I was wondering, are there any specific constellations or other celestial

phenomenom in the world of Classic-Castle Roleplay??? if such things do

exist then maybe a star chart could be made up and posted with the

worldmap.....and if not maybe a star chart could be devised to accompany

the storytelling, to add a further back drop to the stories, anything from

comets of doom to year long eclipses...what do you think??

In general, I do not think that such things really need to be considered until it actually comes up in the Roleplay.

I mean, you COULD just go ahead, make a chart, post it here, get lots of reviews... But if you (or someone else) doesn't actually join the Roleplay and work it into a post, then you're basically just amusing yourself and not adding to the Roleplay canon.

Personally speaking, I don't really think I would use anything other than the actual constellations myself (although I might toss in an invented name here and there that can either be a made-up constellation or just a madeup name :P ). However, I don't particularly care.

Stars don't really figure in in my plots too much...
