“Hmm… that name sounds somewhat familiar,” Vanderdious quarrying “If by chance, have we met before?”Lord_Of_The_LEGO wrote:Then he was off through the crowd, his hat bobbing. Vanderdious made his way through the crowd, and after supping a rich wine, he turned out to seek out another person to converse with. The Black Falcon’s eyes soon rested upon a Royal Knight man, who was tucked away in a corner, not speaking to anyone. Vanderdious immediately made a beeline for him.
“A most grand celebration, is this not, your Gov’ner’ship?” greeted Vanderdious.
The man started.
“Yes,” he said, a little taken aback, “Yes indeed…”
The man said nothing further, and Vanderdious tried again.
“M’name’s Vanderdious Shiringtonburgville, Chief Dramatist of Her Majesty, Queen Helen of the Black Falcons.”
“Oh…” said the man, “My name’s Charles Augustine…”
“I do not believe so.” honestly replied Charles
“Are you sure? I’m usually quite good with names” but just then it hit Vanderdious who this Charles really was. “Wait a moment!” he exclaimed “you’re not the Charles Augustine, are you?
Taken by surprise from this recognition, Charles countered: “you’ve heard of me?
“Well sure... I admit your story isn’t widely known but your name has reached my ears once or twice.” Vanderdious then extended his hand in a sign of friendship which Charles then took with his own. “You have my gratitude friend; your aid to my people during the times of the plague epidemic was most welcome. Not many men would so soon do such a thing after what you suffered and with us as one to blame.”
Charles eyes glazed over when being reminded of his loss. “It would have been selfish not to help when I could.” He said softly.
But before anything more could be said, a loud voice came resounding throughout the ballroom.
"A healer!" they heard. "We need a healer!"
