DUDE....I'm not usually completely blown away by Castle MOCs, but I'd seriously have to say that even from that one photo, that's about the most impressive Castle I've ever seen. I *LOVE* the way he got the stones and mortar, and the cliff is awesome. We need more photos! :D

BTW, here's an upclose shot of the mortar technique:

I think I have a good idea of what's going on. Now I'm off to experiment!

Sweet jumpin' Jehosephat! Even my wife was impressed. :D At first she didn't believe the cliff was brick-built.

Holy freakin' Megabloks!!!

It even makes Ulmaris look small! This is now officially the best MOC I've ever seen. It's not my favorite yet, but once we get more pictures, I might change my mind.

Me either!! That is some amazing landscaping there! Definately some inspired use of bricks... I've learned quite a bit from this MOC.

 man this thing is awesome. Thanks for the hi res pics breadman. I just keep thinking how many pins he must have used, and how many bricks in general there are there.
This style would also lend itself nicely to smaller mocs I think.. something along the lines of a large gray baseplate maybe?

anyway.. awesome job whoever..

Daang, I didn't think that the rocks were LEGO. It looked like crumpled up paper. Whoever did this deserves a high five.

I am really impressed by this castle, and that is something I don’t say so quickly.
Especially by the use of the tiles and the slopes.
Somebody a idea about the dimensions..?

Yeah, it's pretty freakin' wow!

Incredible stonework, and the best mortar look I've ever seen.

I love the way he handled the castle corners. Oddly enough, I was at a Friendly's restaurant the other day. It's all brick, and the corners look very similar to this castle's. I remember thinking, "How would one do this in LEGO?" Well, now I know!
