A question about phpBB....

Okay, since several people here use phpBB (including this site, lol), I figured this would be the best place to ask. I'm almost ready to make my site public, but I need to know: Is phpBB a free service? I'd like to use it for my forums, but don't want to shell out any cash. Thanks in advance for your answers!

I believe it is free if you already have all the resources required to run it. I've downloaded the code to take a look at it, and nothing was charged to me. Here is there site:
