Wanted: White Minifig Hockey Pads/Armor

Post by Qwuff »

That's all I need, really. I don't have much for trade, and no castle minifigs or parts, but I'm willing to pay a reasonable price, I can do money orders and Paypal. If anyone can help shoot me a PM.

Thank you. :)

There's one, the rest with the other printed patterns are at the bottom of the page.

Hope this helps.

I wish these did not come with pre-printed patterns. They could've used stickers.... on the hockey stuff at least.

These would be perfect for Thai soldier armor and maybe even futuristic soldiers.

Agreed. If (when) I buy some of these, I will use brasso. They are too cool to not use!

I saw a couple on Bricklink a few weeks ago. But they're actually very hard to find. If you do come across someone -here- that has some, I doubt they'll sell them off.

Your best bet is just to purchase the Championship Challenge set, which you can get for about 40 dollars at LEGO Sho-at-Home.

It's got useful heads, bodies, and 8 of those body armor pieces, so I wouldn't consider it too pricey for what you get.

Want to know a secret?

A Bricklink Secret?

Most every minifig listed on Bricklink from the Minifig Hockey set, the ones with the description "WITHOUT ARMOR" or something like that - comes with armor.

I asked a Bricklink seller about it, and he said that yes, his minifigs came with the armor, in spite of the description. He then said something about what a horrible job the people who input new parts into the BL database do sometimes.

So.

You want armor? FInd a shop on Bricklink that has the minfigs from that set. Email the seller and ask if the figs come with the armor. I'd bet dollars to doughnuts they do.

That's how I got my 4 pieces.
