Here is a couple pictures of a brick-only barding that I recently built...

Please tell me how you built that. How did you connect the barding to the saddle? Or is it a custom saddle? Great job reguardless.

Dan
I build, therefore I am.

That's a pretty cool concept.
I don't think a saddle piece was involved. The minifig is standing on clips... and so on...

 That's awesome! I would also like to see how you did that, if you don't mind showing us. It would be a very welcome addition to any army!

I think every person on the board is wondering why he didn't think of brick-built bardings before. I know I am. Great job. :D

Wow! I really like the first barding, and the little snow-cap shield.

The unicorn's armor around the head and neck is really sweet. I would have gone for a smaller horn, though.

Ditto.

This is BY FAR the Best Brick-Built Work I have ever seen.

[Barring, of course, million-peice castles.]

Great Job!!! :D

I am too... and I am wondering why TLC hasn't (it's always easy to blame them, huh? ;-)).

This is really, really cool - and it really looks like armored barding for a horse. Great job.

I like the Unicorn too, but I'm curious why you made the horn so big? I know you have a lot of bricks, so I'm wondering if you made it larger on purpose - artistic value or something else?

That is good work! You did an excellent job.

Actually, although I really like this barding for it's uniqueness, the moulded TLC barding does look a little more realistic.

But if Lego is a building toy, you would've thought they would've thought that kids would prefer to build armor than snap a one-peice barding onto their one peice horse...

I tried this out and love it because you can put spikes and chains on it. :D

Funny, before reading that it was supposed to be a unicorn, I thought the large horn was actually a huge decorative feather, like one from an ostrich. I think I like it better as such.

Well done.

In my story Unicorn horns never stop growing, even after their host unicorn has died...part of my story involves a unicorn that died at sea..Eons later there is an entire island populated by demi-humans, who use the collosal horn as a home...
