I found a use for halbreds by cutting off the axe part and turning them into lances for my samuri. They look better than the castle lances and like everyone i have a million of both!

Agggh! Heresy! Murder! :) That is an intresting use for them but I just couldn't bring myself to break a Lego. If you did that though wouldn't it leave a little white part on the part where it was broken?

Unfortuantly it does leave a little white mark. I need to try and darken it with a gray marker.

I also remove the axe head of those halbeirds and turn them into cavalry pikes for my Persians, Mongols, Chinese and a Korean cavalry.
