I like this idea a lot... and your pics and set-ups seem good, and I like the graphics surronding them (axes) to give a good viking feel.

One thing, the pics are so big... anyway to shrink them? Also, I noticed that in order to see the next picture in the story, we have to click "back" and then select the next pic from your list of links... I got a little lost about which link to hit next. Any way to put them in a gallery so we can just hit the "next" link?

The fact of the matter is that you neglected to post a gallery link, so that public or not, we couldn't link to it from here. However, I've solved that problem for you.

Here you are, quite public:

Very nice pics.
But the story is just like the song of Abdula.

Song of Abdulla or not, I enjoyed this little thing! Excellently posed figs, some photoediting, but ntohing overdone. THe story was a good one, I picked up the tune and starting singing (badly). I must say I do like this idea.

Is there are reason why you didn't resize the pics to be more manageable? If these were 500-600 high each, it would be relatively easy to read. As is, even on a high speed connection, it is too much trouble to load and scroll over each pic.

Ahh... that's much better! Gracias for the resizing...

I like this song-story format a lot - and your pics are well done - they are clean and simple, and don't take away from the "song/story".

Of course, being part Irish, I am a bit biased... ;-)

Good work, as usual, Gonff! I can see that the song is a direct re-interpretation of the original. To say the truth, there are a couple of clumsy bits in it, but I can't say which ones, they are rather subtle, and I am not a poet. The illustrations are all excellent, I like the Ireland's greenery, and the Irish people have a very 'Irish' feel to them somehow. Also, you've succeeded in making the Vikings look very grim and ruthless.
Some very good ideas there, as well - Olafur's Viking burial, the monument to Dougal and all the computer editing. The fight is also very well represented.
Wonderful work!
