Well, there aren't any clumsy bits, I used the wrong word, but there are several places in which you could have placed alternatives... Such as 'The sons of Odin' instead of 'sons of Red Eric' (when I read it, I imagined a Viking communist), or 'wolf coat of fur' instead of 'bear coat of fur', and some other insignificant parts.
Just to add on to my last post: I thought that the formatting was very good, the battle-axes, and the definite contours. You could also add some decorative patterns into the white fields.
Just out of interest, what inspired you to make the song specifically viking?

making it viking was in no way related to the release of viking legos. I had already made a japaness version of that song and viking came to mind, plus my friend knows lots and lots and lots of vikingish stuff, like tons of it, even speaks some icelandic so that helped. the reason i put 'Red Eric" and not Odin or Thor was becaseu they descended from him, like in the Abdul one they descended from the Prohpet so to speak. but either could work.

Ok, thanks for the explanations. I heard that Icelandic is very difficult to learn; it is very different to all other European languages, even from the Norse languages.
You Japanese version of the songs was very good also; you should illustrate it too (you would need some of those Samurai sets though).
It's good that the new Viking Lego didn't inspire you, because it's probably the least inspiring thing I've known.

Yah i dont own any viking sets, not that i wouldnt jump at the opportunity if i had a chance. About icelandic: It sort of is the father or so i hear of all the norse langagues, Vikings didnt come from iceland but it was one of their main places. What samuri sets are you referring to? i have lots of ninja sets so i would problably use those. I am in the process of making a Lego movie at the moment so i would probalby have to wait on doing it

For any one who is interested this is my Jappaneese version that i wrote prior to teh Viking one (i know it snot really japanese it is sort of a mix of many things)

The sons of the Shogun
Were shifty and cold,
And never were known to flee,
But the best with the sword,
In the shoguns great horde,
Was Wang Wang Xing Ping Ping Fung Lee

This son of the sword blade,
When riot broke out,
Spitted Chai-Pen peasants with glee.
A terrible creature,
Without any doubt
Was Wang Wang Xing Ping Ping Fung Lee.

If solider was needed
To leave no wish unheeded
You would be quite quick to see
That the best one to call
The most valiant of all
Was Wang Wang Xing Ping Ping Fung Lee.

There were warriors aplenty
And savages famed
In the troops that were led by the Khan
But the fiercest of these
Was a man who was named
Songchai Wing Wangchung Ping Pong

He could act in Kabuki
Jump canyons with ease
And dance over bear-pits in song
In fact quite the cream
Of the mandarin team
Was Songchai Wing Wangchung Ping Pong

The geishas all loved him
His rivals were few
He beheaded them all before long
So noble and great
There was no one to rate
With Songchai Wing Wangchung Ping Pong

One night this dread warlord
Had donned his black cloak
And groomed his thin waist-length goatee
He first spied, then assayed,
To slice clean off the braid
Of Wang Wang Xing Ping Ping Fung Lee

“You dog” roared Wang Wang
“Have you become insane?”
His voice trembled with great fury
“Your manners I abhor
You vile son of a boar”
Said Wang Wang Xing Ping Ping Fung Lee

Your ancestors 'tis plain
Will now wail in pain
And sing out a regretful song
By this I imply
By my sharp sword you'll die
Mr. Songchai Wing Wangchung Ping Pong

Quoth Songchai, "My friend,
You will soon meet your end,
I will your throw ashes to the sea,
Think wisely of your plight
I have never lost a fight
Mr. Wang Wang Xing Ping Ping Fung Lee!"

Then this bold Samurai
Drew his sword with a cry
Of “You will be dead before long”
His braid was now gone,
By the blade of that Khan
Named Songchai Wing Wangchung Ping Pong.

They cut and they slashed
They thrust and they clashed
Many insults were received and thrown.
The peasants now say,
In their own ancient way,
Two birds were killed with one stone

They fought all that night,
Screamed their war cries loud
Till the battle called great a throng
Interferers all died,
In the blink of an eye
By Wang Wang and Songchai Ping Pong.

Wang Wang like a troll
Was extracting his toll
And no one there thought it was wrong
But his blood began to flow
By the weight of a blow
From Songchai Wing Wangchung Ping Pong

The shogun rode up
With his new plated cup,
From which he was drinking some tea
With sadness he moaned
As he heard the last groan
Of Wang Wang Xing Ping Ping Fung Lee.

The great Khan came too
To see if it was true
If his hero had sung his last song
His face was downcast
For he had heard the last
Of Songchai Wing Wangchung Ping Pong

A loud-sounding grunt
From a hole in the ground
It measured about six feet long;
The soil had been dug
To make room for that thug
Named Songchai Wing Wangchung Ping Pong.

There's a tomb rises up
Where the green Bamboo grows;
And on it is written a plea;
“Ah stranger, when passing,
Please pray for the soul
Of Wang Wang Xing Ping Ping Fung Lee.”

A Mandarin maiden
Her lone vigil keeps,
To the soft gentle ring of a gong
Tears fall from her eyes
For the name that she cries
Is Songchai Wing Wangchung Ping Pong.

The sons of the Shogun
Were shifty and cold,
And never were known to flee,
But the best with the sword,
In the shoguns great horde,
Was Wang Wang Xing Ping Ping Fung Lee

I think either format would have been cool (Viking or Samurai) to publish in LEGO, but I think I'm glad you used Viking/Irish - the fact that it's Viking and Irish is cool because thats something I don't see a lot of, especially with our favorite little plastic men.

As I said before, this is really well done. :-)
Knight Templar
n. pl. Knights Templars or Knights Templar
1.A member of an order of knights founded about 1118 to protect pilgrims in the Holy Land during the Second Crusade.

What samuri sets are you referring to?
I meant the ninja sets, sorry for the confusion, I couldn't remember their proper name.
Vikings settled on previously uninhabited Iceland fairly early on in their history, and the original Norse language was more or less conserved in Iceland. I am not sure about Greenland, but I expect it’s similar.
Also, I think it would be better if you made a song about the Mongols instead of the Japs, but it would be rather hard illustrating it.

yes mongols are cool but there is a reason i did japanees. Greenland was also settled by the vikings however they didnt like it as much becaseu they tried to trick other people into going there by calling it greenland, and htey tried to keep Iceland to them selves by called it iceland, when the climates of those 2 places are actually revered, iceland is not very cold and greenland is.
