Here is my first micro-scale MOC: Drachenburg Castle

This is my entry to Robin Hood's Mini-Castle contest. Drachenburg is a castle on a hill that overlooks a small town. Dragons sometime visit the area, hence the name - and one has just arrived in the town to check things out. There is a small mill that is powered by the river. Also, a cart and horse is escaping from the town to the castle. (All on a 32x32 baseplate!) Enjoy!


(Note: This being my first micro-scale MOC, I now have a great appreciation for the style. I built this in less than a day, but my big hands kept destroying parts of it as I built it!)

That is easily one of the very best micro MOCs I have ever seen, in any theme! This seriously reminds me of so many fantasy novels, and your attention to color is perfect.

That is truely a great mini master piece! Personally, I really like the water mill, that's very cool. The river going into the mountain is also great.

Yes, whatever SOME people may say about clip crenelations looking a bit lame, they look awesome here. Of course, at this particular scale, your inhabitants wouldn't be a round 1x1...

Love the gears on the towers and watermill. The whole landscape has a very nice flow to it. Some very good house designs.

Dang, Nelsosn, that's awesome. Dare I say that the landscaping is Itou-esque? I particularly like the dragon! The use of the gear is also very cool.

This is just too cool. I'm definately stealing ideas, both phsycial techniques for a future Micro Scale creation, and design ideas for minifig scale MOCs.

I love the trees, especially the way you installed them. That might not be a new technique, but it's new to me!

The gears in the towers are supurb, makes me wish there was such an easy detail solution for Minifig scale.

Yup, I'm definately inspired. Now if I can just find all the parts I'll need...
