Teaser Trailer for my story

Post by Shadow »

Hey everyone,

I got off my duff and made a short teaser trailer for my Lego movie. Yep, thats right, I'm actually going to have it in movie form. The text will appear below the picture as if in subtitles. It will include music, (at times my own compositions) and sound effects. I'm sure you were all wondering when I would make my story  So... I took a few seconds to make it and upload it. Please let me know of any errors or mistakes. Thanks!

Looks good!

What software/hardware are you using to make it?

I use Sony Vegas. Although it can be expensive its worth the buy. I actually use it for my business and it has yet to fail me.

I love the music and text transitions. However, there's only one thing other than black space in the whole thing, and that's near the end. I would suggest, either as a background to the text or as something to put between the texts, that you put in some more Lego shots. Not too many, of course, but just enough to wake people up and say, "Hey, you gotta see this."

Other than that, it's great!

Thanks eNiGMa! Actually, I was going to put a faded out map in the background of the first text, but I was in a hurry. I might just update it soon.

I like it, but like eNiGMa stated it needs more LEGO. But I have to say, this movie has great potential. Look foward to seeing more. Keep up the good work.

I tried to keep it more of a teaser than a trailer. I'm sure all of you have seen the trailer for 'The Da Vinci Code.' They didn't include any shots of people, yet they made it look entertaining.

Wow great trailer Shadow. But it needs a little more LEGO I think.

I tried uploading a movie for my site today. What do you know, I failed. Oh well, watching your movie is more fun.

Thanks for the help. I updated the video a bit more with a blackened picture of a castle in the background of the 'Deep in the land...' text. Just go back to the link and you'll see the updated version. Tell me if this is better.

I kinda agree, yet I am in the process of making my castle and have yet to re-create my characters. As soon as I'm done my castle I give you a full trailer.
