Ok, the submit pages and entry pages are up and running. Here are a few reminders:
Submitted entries do not go live right away. Admins must check to see if they are appropriate and accurate first. This could take 10 minutes or a few days. You may ask, how do I get my submission approved quickly?
Make sure your thumbnail links are correct. If you have an image such as:
http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Benja ... 1cabin.jpg then you need to type it this way
http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Benja ... _thumb.jpg to see the thumbnail
You should also check spelling in the description, make sure you are not using images larger than 800x600 pixels, not using bitmaps, and that your link to the image hosting page is correct. Copy and paste that link in the contest form into another browser to see if it works. Many times last year people would send us broken links. We can not approve you if we can not see your creation.
Also,
this is very important, you can only have 3 images in the folder that you link to. Feel free to make a separate folder with all of the images of your moc. If you link to a folder with more than 3 images in it, your entry will be disqualified. Do not create a thumbnail image in your brickshelf account folder to make 4 images total. Link directly to the thumbnails that brickshelf automatically creates.
Please keep all of these things in mind. Thank you.
