Highland Beserker

Post by SavaTheAggie »

Here's a highland beserker I whipped up after seeing Moko's new leg design (thread in the general forum).

Hey Anthoy

Great berserker! That face and hair go surprisingly well together. And that new leg design does look like a kilt. Good job!

So does Ep II Obi-Wan hair.

That is cool. I would have never thought to use that design as a kilt, but it looks great. Congraturations!

Now there's someone I wouldn't want to meet at night in a dark alleyway. It's a pity the kilt doesn't come down farther...maybe green or red control sticks? Anyway, great job. :D

Nice hair! I'm getting Black Adder overtones again...

God Bless,

"Wey-hey and the wind will blow,
Bonnie laddie, highland laddie,
Wey-hey and away we'll go,
Bonnie highland laddie"

I haven't a clue what the name of that song is, I heard it at a Rennaissance faire a few months ago.

Green or yellow control sticks are the only thing that would make this better. Great use of Moko's idea!

Hmm... I don't know why, but I just can't the image of the schoolgirl out of my head ;-). This design is still a bit strange to me - I just can't get used to it... give me the blocky legs of old!

Im not a big fan of the new leg design, though it looks like it might work well with women mini-figs.

Well, he's pretty small, so it would probably be fairly easy to take his life (just pull his head off with your fingers), but I imagine taking his freedom would be a bit more challenging...

Very nice, Anthony. This particular Viking head and torso lend themselves very well to berserkers -- I made one myself (with boring ole legs) the first day I got my ship. :D

For some reason it reminds me of a really messed up cross dresser.

Yup, a half-naked guy in a skirt running at you with axes can be quite a scary sight.... with or without the axes.

Hey Tony,

Great implementation of Moko's leg design! I'd like to see this guy incorporated into a scene.

I think it's because he is showing a little more leg than the traditional kilt allows, no? If my memory serves me, the kilt should go to the knee...

It's a cool idea for sure, I am just one of those annoying skeptics.

I think it might work better on like a robot or something where the legs are all the same color. Cause right now, with the yellow legs, it looks like a mini skirt.
