You got it. This map is a really cool idea! Still, I feel a little lonely all the way over here on the map! Like maybe if I yell "Helloooooo!" I'll get an echo. ;-)

Without my collection and face-to-face communication with other fans, I'd be facing a certain dark age if CC wasn't around... glad to see it is.

Lonely? Your only 4-5 hours away from Bruce! That's not that far away. Almost everybody on the Classic-Castle forum is from the US. You can't really call that lonely, can you.

Seriously, this map is awsome (though it did put me about 1/2 a mile away from my home :cry:

). Still, that's not too shabby.

I was wondering, how close are your markers to your actual homes? (I noticed that Rogue27 lives on the wrong side of the tracks :wink:

The map is good, but partly ununderstandable. While everyone in the world except the US needs to have exact info (country, part, town) US citizens need only state (often with two-letter shorts that noone outside the states understand) and town. Country seems to be "obvious", strange.

Shadow, look at Kohran or Nick and rethink that sentence!

Mine's pretty dang close. I'm in Taylorsville, but was marked as Salt Lake City. But here, the whole valley is just one big city. Think Coruscant. :wink:

Well for me, the map is off by 20 miles. If you zoom in and look to the right of my marker, you'll see a little grid by Highway 89. That's my town.

I was wondering, how close are your markers to your actual homes?

Mine is very close, but it won't let enter my actual zip because it's so new. I am literally a stone throw away from LEGOLand, I live on top of a hill, and I look down every morning and I see the parking lot and front gate.

Actually, I'm about 10 hours from Bruce, yet I'll be up in DC soon so I'll only be around 1 1/2 hour away :wink:

What I meant is that I'm one of the few in NC... and I wish I was like Max who lived close to Legoland. I used to live in CA very close to a lot of FOLS. :cry:

Oh ok.... I live about 15 minutes from my location.

I was going to move the marker to my house but moved it to the middle of Main Street. I don't want Swanberg coming and stealing my pitchforks and black swords. :roll:

Not that a few mouse clicks won't tell you exactly where I live, with photo, and what I paid for my house and whether or not I paid my property taxes (oh wait. *runs and checks* OK. whew). Stupid internet.

[1] Relax. Just some "rivalry weekend" smack. Plus I spent 3 long years of my life in Michigan, so I would know. And my wife and I commute 70 miles into Michigan 2 days a week.

My marker is only seven or eight blocks from my house (Seattle has lots of ZIP Codes).
