Mom and baby are both doing very well, big brother Christian is proud of his new playmate!

The Lego company, additionally, is pleased about their new lifetime consumer... ;-)

I plan to put all those sleepless nights to good use making my CCC3 entry!

Wow... congradulations are in order! This is a situation I cannot imagine, but I think it must be a very exciting and proud time for you both! Hope everything works out well for you - I guess you won't have much time/energy for MOC-making. :-)

Congradulations! I'm sure TLG will be happy to include another FOL, as well as CC would be glad for another member a few years up the road

I think we need a new acronym - BFOL (Baby Fan Of LEGO) or BFOD (Baby Fan of Duplo), for those kids born into AFOL households. Little do they reallize it yet, but their birthday gifts for the next ten years are already planned.
Carl - "Ooh, honey, I'll buy that set . . . um, yeah, it's for the kids! Honest, not for me. Well, of course I'll help them put it together . . . ."
The kids - "Daddy, will you stop building so we can play with our LEGO now?"

:)

Thanks everyone for the congratulations! Things are going pretty well (it's easier the second time around), and I've got a good start for my CCC3 Vehicle MOC...

Guilty as charged... ;-) I just ordered the Thomas complete set yesterday for my 3 1/2 year old. And, since free shipping kicks in at $100, I had to get something to put the purchase over that! My older son thought he was in hog heaven the other day too when I let him play with my UCS Snowspeeder--always a treat to play with Daddy's LEGO!
