Some things from Brickshelf

Post by Bruce N H »

Hey all,

Going through Brickshelf, I figured I'd highlight some Castle creations that people might pass over because the folders aren't obviously Castle themed:

It looks like WAMALUG played some Brikwars last fall. Any idea who built that keep?

The Vancouver LEGO Club Roadshow from last September has a huge medieval battle:

I especially like the design of the trebuchet here:

This Childrens' Expo folder is mostly Castle themed. I wonder if that volcano is Mount Doom?

This LEGO Fest (I think this was a UK event? At least I think the builders of the Mos LEGO are from the UK) has a big castle display. Off topic, but be sure to check out the Star Wars stuff too, especially the hangar bay for the Millenium Falcon:

Easier to find, but I really like this solution for the Sword in the Stone motif:

Here's a work in progress of a traditional cathedral:

Anyway, great stuff out there.

Interesting. Any idea whos castle it is? I know, but do YOU?

So do I, but I mean, someone is a bit confused, they're catapulting a live orc! And its going along with it!

It's got to be. Little cave in the mountain, and a part of Orthanc or Barad-Dur is shown here http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=669354. Definetly LOTR.

Most Millenium Falcons are too small. This ones too big, I think. Nice, anyway.

Good luck the builder, great start.

I agree
