I have seen your rules before and they aren't bad, should work alright. Have you played with them yet? You should also check out this website: www.brikwars.com

Just to add onto what Josh said, every year (around march???) we have a battle contest.

I'm just wondering if we're having it this year.

yup ive seen that and can't wait for it to begin o and for sum reason i can keep clicking on the rating and it never says 'you previously gave medieval battle contest a 5/5'
so if you want i can give you a better rating, but it would be abusing a bug.

so has anyone playtested em?

Nice rules. I am currently printing these rules, and I will have good read this weekend. At a glance they look very playable. Well done!

Are these based on rules which are commercially available?

Thanks

The whole Battles Contest was a brainchild of mine. Good to see there were plenty of supporters. You can have small armies engage in little skirmishes... to massive LOTR or KOH sized battles (well not really), but in the 1,000s.

BTW, are we having a Battles contest this year?

Seems to be my day for being off-topic, but I will just say this. This is a very good year for prizes in the Battles contest. Nuff said.
